Knowledge – What Fools Take for Granted

One fact which will determine your level of business success is irrefutable.

The knowledge you possess will determine whether you and your websites and or your offline business . . . will fail or succeed.

Notice I said fail before succeed.

The reason is because most of you are failing without even realizing it.

Seriously, most people I talk with, when it comes to their own business or website/s are in denial and ‘D Nile’ ain’t just a river in Egypt.

The more knowledge you possess and apply, the the more successful you will become.

No exceptions.

No excuses.

JUST ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE TO BLOW YOU OWN NOSE:

What concerns me the most, is people’s ignorance when it comes to their own business, foolishly believing, they have all the knowledge they will ever  need . . . when it reality, they are armed and dangerous with just enough knowledge to blow their own nose.

When in fact, they could and should be armed with enough knowledge to blow their competitor’s out of the water with all the ease of shooting fish in a barrel with a machine gun.

I call these types of people a F.I.G.J.A.M.

If you don’t know what this means . . . it’s an acronym for Fuck I’m Good Just Ask Me. If you don’t believe me, google it.

I am not calling you a F.I.G.J.A.M. however, I do question you on your own knowledge.

Unless you are constantly a student of business, marketing, copywriting and entrepreneurship, then you are ripping yourself off – BIG TIME!

Myself and my mentors are forever keen students, including the legendary Ted Nicholas who, even though he has proven sales over $6.9 Billion due to his writing skills and being in his 70′s, Ted increases his knowledge EVERY single day.

It isn’t some naturally born gift, it’s certainly got nothing to do  with luck, intelligence, gender, race, age or any special talent. I left school when I was 14 years and 8 months old!

A FEW CASE HISTORIES:

ONE:

Earlier this year, I had lunch with a prospect and in an hour I found more holes in his business than the titanic. He agreed to hire me and the first job I did was look at his sales copy.

I gave one sales piece a new headline and made very minor tweaks to the rest.

In just one week, from using my headline, sales went up $50,400. You do the math over a year.

TWO:

Consulting to a client who was in my office, he was giving me all sorts of B.S. reasons why his marketing wasn’t working and why he couldn’t do this and couldn’t do that. Fair dinkum, I was ready to give him an uppercut if he didn’t stop bitching.

His wife could sense I was about to ‘toecrack’ him right between the melon when she told him to sit down, shut the fuck up and just LISTEN!

I proceeded to ask him a series of questions and in just 20 minutes, I gave his a complete marketing solution and when they left I said, just humor me and do EXACTLY what I suggested.

The results?

In 1 month, he had increased his database 4000%.

THREE:

Chatting to a mate on skype one day, he was mentioning how he posted adverts on craigslist to get new clients.

While we were ‘chewing the fat’, I looked at his existing ads, cranked out 6 new headlines in less than 10 minutes and sent them to him.

Now, he wasn’t used to these types of headlines however he agreed to test them.

The results?

Within 1 week, his sales increased 300% due to an explosion in leads which he then converted.

FOUR:

A customer invested in his own knowledge by getting one of my courses which included a one hour mentoring session with me and a sales letter critique.
