it goes on the very lines of Eastern philosophy of life, particularly Buddhism, Tao, and etc. The very concept that the mind is made up of an illusion of what we really are. We are so convinced by this illusion that we let the mind become the master of us.

To take away the illusion of what the mind make, or in other terms pull back the curtains is Enlightenment (of course some will argue this point but it’s my opinion)

    I find this truly amazing…
We often think we are more clever and “developed” than ever, but history really tells us another story.
When I was a teenager, we used to have Latin and Greek at school, and I didn’t think it was much fun. Now I regret that I did not pay more attention, I might have not forgotten the wisdom and the insights we were fed during the lessons..
    Thanks for this great article!

One more aspect. If people would only truly understand how they can control their own mind and once they tame the wild side of their mind, they can do or be anything they want.

These quotes contain timeless wisdom… we hear versions of them time and time again — it’s a shame they don’t become automatically ingrained on our brain at birth! Just imagine what our life would be if we applied each one of those gems!
